Membership & Match Fees

We manage our club membership via a mobile app called Teamo. Once you've decided you want to join and you're all set up on Teamo, all fees will be invoiced through Teamo and payment should be made through Teamo.

England Hockey Player Registration Fee

From September 2025, England Hockey have introduced an annual player registration fee:

• £16.50 for teens and adults
• £10.50 for U12s

Included in your England Hockey registration:

• Personal accident insurance providing protection every time you step on the pitch
• Free courses in coaching, officiating, and safeguarding
• Free-to-air hockey on Channel 4 means more people can watch the sport you love

Poole Hockey Club Membership Fees

A core part of Poole Hockey Club is to provide coaching for our members. To deliver on this, and to meet our wider objectives, we have a membership fee that covers these essential costs. As well as providing coaching, membership fees also cover some costs also associated with playing matches, including club equipment, league fees, England Hockey team affiliation, DBS checks, Teamo, the upkeep of goalkeeping equipment.

Members have a range of flexible options for paying their membership fees. When registering on Teamo, you can choose the approach that suits you best:

• One up‑front payment
• Three instalments
• Monthly payments
• Juniors U12: pay‑as‑you‑go

Joining partway through the season is absolutely fine, we’ll simply prorate your membership so you only pay for the remaining months.

Fees for season 2026/27 (1st May 2026 - 30th June 2027):

• Family (see note 1 below) £213.05
• Senior (working 30hrs or more per week) £149.80
• Concession, including juniors (see note 2 below) £92.30
• Social (see note 3 below) £92.30

Note 1: Designed for families living at the same address. Must include at least one member who is aged 18 or under on 1st Sept 2026. All family members are responsible for the fees until payment is made in full.

Note 2: Includes - all U18s, anyone in education with more than 16 hrs study per week / on an official apprenticeship scheme which includes study and those working less than 30hrs per week.

Note 3: Social membership is suited to those wanting to attend coaching sessions without the ability/desire to commit to regular matches. This allows for up to 7 matches to be played, priority will be given to full members and therefore we cannot guarantee matches when available to play.

Pay as you go options (no annual PHC membership fees):

• Junior coaching pay as you go £5.20/session, EH registration fee still applies
• Senior enhanced match fees - up to four matches, charged at an enhanced match fee of £16.50 per game

Match fees sit separately from membership fees and cover match only costs.

• Senior (working 30hrs+ / week) £10.50
• Concessions (working <30hrs / week) £7.50
• Enhanced match fees (up to 4 matches & no coaching) £16.50
• Juniors (U10 & U12 tournaments) £4.50
