Full details about matches is available via Teamo, once you've signed up.
Club match kit
🏑 For home matches we wear navy shirts (shown below), red socks with navy blue skirts/shorts. For away matches when there is a colour clash with the opposition, we wear white shirts.
🏑 Shirts are available to borrow when needed, just speak to the Team Manager.
🏑 You can order kit from our online shop, here you will also find a wide range of optional Poole Hockey Club sportswear available to purchase.
When are matches
🏑 During the main season, senior matches (players aged 13+) are on Saturdays and some Sundays.
🏑 Junior matches and tournaments are held on Sundays.
🏑 May – August we enter some senior teams into a summer league. These games are played on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday evenings.
Match fees
Payable on the day of the match and payment will be requested via Teamo. Match fees are used to pay for pitch hire and travel to away games.
Please note, non-members playing for Poole will have +£4 on the fee below, this is allowed for up to 5 matches.
Category | Fee |
---|---|
Adult | £9.50 |
Concessions (full time education / unemployed) | £6.50 |
Juniors (U10, U12 & U14 matches) | £3.50 |
Transport for senior matches
We try to car share as much as possible when playing away games. The Team Manager will coordinate this, usually meeting at Ashdown Leisure Centre (our home ground) to travel together. Fuel costs for those car sharing is then covered. To protect all of our U18 members our coaches, drivers and helpers are regularly DBS checked.
First aid
For home games and coaching sessions at Ashdown Leisure Centre our first aid cover is provided by the leisure centre, alongside our own first aid trained club members. Due to the travel involved for some games, and the uncertainty of the First Aid provisions, all teams have a first aid trained adult and a team First Aid Kit.
Selection
Selection is done by Team Managers and Coaches. Please note: if you owe the club £50 or more, you will not be selected for games until your debt is cleared (unless you have spoken to someone and have an agreement in place).
